client, that we take a partnership approach to reaching
your health and fitness goals. We will continually get
feedback from you and assess your goals in order to provide
you with a truly unique and personal program that best
suits your needs. We promise that we can help all people
at all fitness levels attain an optimum state of health
and fitness in an efficient and effective use of time
all done in a private and non-intimidating environment.
Our training approach embodies the ideas
of high intensity exercise. By slowing down the
movements, the muscles become recruited more effectively
without using momentum to help out with the exercise.
Therefore, the exercise not only provides the most effective
stimulus for muscle growth but also does it in a safe
manner eliminating all unnecessary force and risk of injuries.
The most important concept you must understand with how
exercise relates to weight loss is that “It is not
the calories burned during exercise, but the calories
burned as a result of exercise.” As we build more
lean muscle mass here at Efficient Exercise, you will
need more calories per day just to survive due to a raised
basal metabolism.
Now we all find ourselves saying that
we want to “lose weight.” What we actually
mean is that we want to look and feel better and lose
FAT not weight. We don’t offer a weight loss program,
but rather a fat loss program through the most effective
method to build lean muscle mass. We also help with various
medical conditions such as pre and postmenopausal symptoms
like osteoporosis. We offer safe and effective programs
for obesity along with post-operative rehabilitation services.
Lastly, we help students of yoga, Pilates, and martial
arts improve in their arena through added functional strength.
